Neighbourhood Action Group

(picture 40997lt) The Milton Keynes Community Safety Partnership has set up 31 Neighbourhood Action Groups (NAGS) to enable people to address local issues.Wavendon and Woburn Sands, together with Bow Brickhill and Little Brickhill make up MK Rural South NAG. A questionnaire circulated to households in 2008 and a public meeting identified parking, speeding and traffic / congestion as the three priorities for action.

NAGS are jointly supported by Thames Valley Police, MK Council and parish councils and include representatives of residents and businesses. More resident and business members are needed.

Meetings take place locally every one or two months, usually on a Thursday evening early in the month.
